I had a dream where my dad died and i had to give a eulogy, but i couldn't think of anything other than "ummm....", and nowbody would help me, and they waited for hours and wouldn't bury him until i said something. i wanted to say something. i want to now.

I gotta be honest with you, I can't see how you could possibly want to think of things now, but I digress. If you really want to, you need to sit down and think of what qualities make him "Dad." What sorts of things he says or does that make people say "oh that's just so him."
It's not always easy, and you'll always find something later that you forgot; but if you really want to know what you'd talk about at his funeral, start there.
