first, i'm a guy. second, i used to have a huge reaction -- worse than nails on a chalkboard -- to the sound of teachers cratching their hose with long nails. still makes me shiver 30 years and more later. last night, had a dream that i was forced to listen to that and i was curled up in a ball like a baby when i woke up and had a scratch on my leg, like i'd been scratching myself. gives me chills.
