oh hell, i am getting the WORST sense of deja vu here! i had to go outside and smoke before giving an answer to this one. i could tell you a long tale of heartbreak and pain that 80's groups used to sing about but it comes down to two words: BE HONEST!!!! yes, you will hurt him. after 2 years, it can't be avoided. after awhile i can promise you that he will be grateful you didn't 'string him along'. good luck.:)
