I just got double carpal tunnel surgeries, I'm headed back to work but, I'm looking for a change of pace to avoid a recurrence. I've always worked in restaurant/hospitality, in fact, bartending is how a developed the condition. I've pretty much become jaded when it comes to customer service so, I'm hoping to avoid retail/telecommunication/hospitality, etc. I feel i'm more of a laborer that a clerical worker, as well. Keep in mind this is just a JOB search, my career will follow my degrees... =] What do you do??

a good idea -- check at-home call center and customer service gigs -- they pay really well, and citibank and all big airlines and banks do it -- the calls get routed to your house, you can avoid typing for the most part (or use voice type like dragon strictly speaking) and it's a very, very good gig. Things like that! Customer service, sure, but computer/technology driven. also lots of health care work like that -- and no typing, whether at-home, home service (visiting) or hostpital, etc.
