I don't feel guilty about keeping secrets from my family...or not talking to them about things. I don't feel they deserve to know about my life.

family doesn't mean there's any obligation on either side, but the love, support and trust you can find there as opposed to the larger circles of friends makes it so for many folks. i'd just go with YOUR heart... you might find them the people you'd WANT to talk to, but you might not.

I dnt share my feelings with my family either! I let them just think I am their support group they can cum to and I love them all! Sometimes family are the worst,experienced it*^..^*

Nobody 'deserves' to know anything about your life, if that's how you want to work out your relationships. But family? Family is strange. I think it really depends on the topic, as well as if you actually want their advice about things. I don't share everything with my family, but I like to sometimes when I need a shoulder to lean on or advice about something I know that they've been through.
