i recently learned that my boyfriends parents may be doing herion. he found the syringe and dirty spoon in they're room while looking for a movie. he said it stank of the smell of herion. he is really torn up about it because his childhood was broken by them doing crack. if there is anybody out there who has been a similar situation please give me the advice on how to comfort and consult him through this because i am completely lost and have absolutly no idea how.

there are many, many support groups for family member of addicts. i'd look it up locally through a good hospital, who can refer to different (free) groups
