i think i lost her, and it was the chance after the last chance. my fault, and now... totally did a 180, changed my life, and finding myself again... and i realize i am truly the person she'd want, if i'd been that person over the last few years. found myself, and looking back, i was a huge trainwreck. crap.

First of all, good for you. Not only have you been mature enough to recognize that you needed to change your life, you've actually done it. As for that girl? Keep going on the better road you're on, reminding yourself not to become what you were before, and maybe you'll get a second chance with her. If you don't, then consider that the person you are now may not fit with who she is now. You need someone who will fit with your grown self, and looking to the past and beating yourself up over it won't help you to continue to grow to become the best you can be.
