i have been checking my boyfriends email over the past few months. i checked it yesterday, in fact... and yesterday he asked me if i had checked it. i said no. should i have said yes? i decided immediately i will no longer check any of his stuff and stop snooping around because i have nothing at all to fear (i don't know why i am so paranoid that other girls are sending him emails... we're crazy about each other! i don't know why i would do something so stupid and mundane that would put our relationship on the edge. i care about him so much!) i don't know if i need to tell him what i have done or just let it alone....
what would you do? should i tell him i snooped?

if you want to build a mature relationship (assume you are an adult or training to be one), trust and knowing what truth sounds like in the telling and hearing, is a great start, imo
