Guys like to pursue. When they feel that there is pursuation in their love life, they tend to get back.
Let me re-phrase it. If they know that there are some guys who hit on their girlfriend or talk about them ... they always feel insecure and somehow have this feeling that If I leave her, she has so many options ...
I know its crap but is a truth.
So my advice to both of you. Start dating a guy immediately and make sure your guys see you (and observe you) and never show you miss him. I bet he will be back within a week.
