Yeah, they can make a people's life miserable !!
Edit: What really happen is that i bought a car, at a dealer, and i pay for three days insurance that they offer, i was at the dealer, just helping my brother not to get robbed with an horrible deal, and i end up leasing one, and buying one that he would drive under my name. Two days later, he have a crash, and the insurance, didn't want to cover the damages, stating that the accident occur 30 minutes after the insurance policy expire. So i was supposed to have 72 hours insurance, but i got only 50. End of story, i almost lost my license, i'm paying a high insurance rate, also an SR-22, my life is hell, since i lost my GOOD credit, i don't talk to my brother, since he just turn the back on me, i'm getting harassed by the bank, trying to get their money and for the big finale, a huge lawsuit against me. I can't afford a lawyer, and i'm basically doing the lawyer papers, by reading in the internet and paying a stupid prepaid legal services, that are no help at all.
Again, i hate lawyers !! and let me add, insurances companies of all kinds !!

Yeah, i agree, but i haven't known one yet. Especially when they are after money, paid by a Insurance Company that prefers to sue me, than to sue a big Car Dealer or another insurance company, that can really compete to their level. :D
