So I'm a freelance designer. I'm interested in building a portfolio so I'm currently doing some work free of charge. And you would expect that since I AM working for free, people would be somewhat sympathetic with the this-is-a-FREE-website-so-don't-be-expecting-a-www.dolcegabbana.com/dg/-kinda-site. Nah. I give them some pretty neat CSS, but they say, "But I thought it was going to be a Flash Site." Well, do you want some Dom Perignon while I'm at it you asswipe?

If they can't meet you on the trade and commerce tip, then you let them it costs extra for something like flash. What you can give them for free is CSS. Alot of times, people that aren't creative that work with creative people aren't good expressing what they want. Happens all the time.

This is a situation that comes up all the time. It seems that the more of a favor you are doing the more the "client" will take the piss. Never work with friends or family if you can help it.
