drives me to drink.
i now know why there is a nursing shortage.
the professors are so old and don't know how to write a decent test. 70% of the class is failing....
and we study ALL THE DAMN TIME....
what are we doing wrong?
when we are in the clinical setting we know what we are doing, we provide excellent patient care....
as student nurses our percentage rate of getting clients well enough to go home is way higher (try 93%) than already registered nurses.
it sucks. we know our shit in the clinical setting, but when the professors write a test, we bomb them.
is there something wrong with us or the professors?
it is beginning to depress the students....driving us to drink because we think we are not good enough to provide care to the general public...when we are!!!
help!!!! we need encouraging words of wisdome before we quit and make the nursing shortage worse than it already is!!!

don't quit -- world needs you and teachers... not just nursing schools... just want to protect their jobs and remember "those that can't learn, teach it's true. once they start teaching, they never change, even if world does. get through it.

You need to report to the dean of your section, or maybe the president of the university. if such a high percentage is failing, then clearly the teacher is doing something wrong.
