I just read about the Swine Flu about five minutes ago and I'm hoping that my school will cancel their annual band trip. the trip starts this Thursday and as of this minute, approximately 28 people in NYC have been confirmed to have the flu.
My school was stupid enough to charter a bus through the NYC area (the band trip is in Hershey) and I'm extremely worried that my girlfriend, who is going on the trip, will get infected. All I can do is just pray to God that her music teacher cancels the trip (which has a 5% chance anyways). And if the trip isn't canceled, then I'll have to pray to God every day to make sure she (including the others on the trip) don't get sick from the swine flu (and don't bring it back home, either.)
They are going to be in Hershey for roughly three days. That's enough time for the flu to be transmitted if the bus takes a rest stop in New York.
I don't want her to get sick, but I also don't want her to die. I hold her very close to my heart; she is one of the few girls that actually understands me.

dude, chances are they'll do a risk management assessment and decide that the risk is 'life threatening' so they'll cancel it. If not then they'd have to adhear to some very strict guidelines which may even include missing NYC.
