I hate to say it because you are going to get the idea that guys are unpredictable assholes but. . .Well hell, some of us are.

I would say about a third of the guys out there, the ones you can pretty much get laid on demand, tend to be more interested in the chase than the kill. Women will trade sex for the expectation of love, and most men will trade their love for sex, but for the guy who isn't emotionally mature enough to love anyone but himself, and for whom sex isn't anything difficult to get -the attraction becomes the challenge.

Its about finding the high maintenance chicks and professional virgins, the girls already in relationships or the best friend/sister of a girl he's already had. It's about seizing the unattainable, and once he's gotten it, he'll move on to something else. I was like that the first couple years I was in the Navy, I hurt alot of great women before I realised what I was doing. I hope I am wrong, I hope he is just going through some stressful situation and pushing you away until he handles it. . .But I am afraid you have probably fallen in love with a dude who can't appreciate how amazingly rare and valuable your complete trust and honest affection really are.
