wanted to become a music teacher but my life sucks!!!!!!

I hate that I have to probably work at a grocery store for the rest of my life because I cannot afford to go back to school! I was halfway done with my music degree and my elderly adoptive parent ended up getting demintia with Alzheimer's and I lost everything including the house because her biological son was granted gaurdianship plus some of her assets were used to pay for her nursing home care. I didn't think my life would turn out like this. I am working two jobs to support myself. I have my own apartment but I have no other family or friends. I have twenty thousand in student loan debt plus a car loan I am currently paying off. All of my FASFA will not cover my schooling so I have to take out more loans or pay out of pocket! I hate my life. All I wanted to do was become a music teacher and now I am forced to give up on my dreams because the reality is I have no one to help me out!! But everyone else my age can go out party, mess up thier life, mooch off of people and they have family who supports them! I don't understand why I was even born!??

it's SO EARLY in your life, don't worry about it -- so teach for america or americorps, get your loans forgiven and get startt on your teaching cert. but music (and PE, and art) programs getting hacked nationwide. have a fallback, and don't worry about it, ok. also, call social security and seee what benefits you might get due to folk's disability! feds will defer loan, for sure.

It is absolutely true that some people, from the time they are in first grade, know they want to be teachers. For others, the idea to become a teacher can be a sudden insight, or a feeling that ferments for years in some remote corner of their consciousness. Regardless of where the idea comes from, for many, the images associated with becoming a teacher are compelling. Visit pdfpal.org for more information on how to become an effective teacher.

Thanks so much! I like your comments lots of encouragement and insight. Sometimes I overeact and forget to see that all is not lost.
